## Orbitals

For 1s, 2p, 3d, 4f the axis limits are the same. For 5f a different set of axis limits are used. The images given on wikipedia are good, but are not all at the same scale, hence the reason why I have created this page.

### 1s Orbital

### 2p Orbitals

### 3d Orbitals

Upper Left to Right: xy , z^{2} , x^{2}-y^{2}

Lower Left to Right: yz, xz

### 4f Orbitals (general set)

Upper Left to Right: y(3x^{2}-y^{2}) , z^{3} , z(x^{2}-y^{2}) , yz^{2}

Lower Left to Right: xz^{2}, xyz, x(x^{2}-3y^{2})

### 5f Orbitals (general set)

Upper Left to Right: y(3x^{2}-y^{2}) , z^{3} , z(x^{2}-y^{2}) , yz^{2}

Lower Left to Right: xz^{2}, xyz, x(x^{2}-3y^{2})
